TV

The SCA and Network 10 affiliation agreement began on July 1 2021, whereby Network 10 will supply its programs for broadcast by SCA in regional Queensland, Southern New South Wales and Victorian commercial television licence areas. This includes the broadcast of 10SHAKE for the first time in regional Australia.

SCA has been granted authority by Ten to market, sell, and book advertising products and packages for broadcast in Network 10 programs on SCA’s television stations in these licence areas, as well as to deal with other parties in relation to audience measurement, television program guides, marketing, promotion, and related matters.

SCA will no longer broadcast or represent the Nine network in regional Queensland, northern New South Wales, southern New South Wales or regional Victorian commercial television licence areas.

SCA will continue to broadcast:

  • the Seven Network channels in Tasmania,
  • Seven and Ten channels in Darwin and Remote Central and Eastern Australia, and
  • Seven, Nine and Ten channels in Broken Hill and Spencer Gulf.

In addition, Sky News Australia and SCA have entered into a new multi-year free-to-air program supply agreement to broadcast Sky News content across SCA’s largest regional markets on a new dedicated 24-hour news channel.

Sky News Regional will broadcast on Channel 56 in 17 of SCA’s regional markets across Victoria, Southern NSW and Queensland including Cairns, Townsville, Sunshine Coast, Canberra, Wollongong, Wagga Wagga, Orange, Bendigo, and Ballarat. Read more here

SCA will also sell Sky News Regional on behalf of WIN in NNSW, Griffith and Mount Gambier / Riverland.

In partnership with the Federal Government, SCA offers the Viewer Access Satellite Television (VAST) services, giving TV to Australians living and travelling in remote Australia and in black-spot areas.
