It was iced coffee, a 90s Janet Jackson video and a Pilates class that ignited the new original podcast series, The Dream Club with besties Brooke Boney and Linda Marigliano, which lands on LiSTNR today, Wednesday, February 24.

Think of The Dream Club as a weekly catch up with your best friends, where you unpack those saved stories from your feed every week, followed by a much needed D&M of course. It’s authentic conversations with two of Australia’s most connected entertainment tastemakers and real life friends, talking through all the things happening around the globe from film and fashion to relationships, mental health, politics and everything in between. It’s the pop culture conversation you don’t feel guilty about!

Brooke Boney is best known as Nine Network’s entertainment reporter on the TODAY show. With a background in political journalism, Brooke has interviewed some of the world’s biggest stars, politicians and leading thought leaders. Now Brooke steps behind the microphone, and said: “I’m excited to have in-depth and lovely conversations about stuff that’s on the real cutting edge of culture and things that are happening in the world.

“It’s the sort of content you’re not going to find anywhere else, having two young women with the depth of experience and a perspective not found in other places. It’s super exciting, and I think you’re going to love it!”

Brooke joins forces with long time radio announcer and musician Linda Marigliano, a constant fixture in the Australian music scene for over 15 years, Linda may also be recognised as bass player in her band, Teenagersintokyo. She’s passionate for Aussie music, emerging artists and most importantly can appreciate good food!

“I am so excited to spill the beans out in public every week with one of my best friends, talking about the moments that matter, and all of the weird and wonderful stuff we discuss in between!” she said.

“We couldn’t pass up an opportunity to share our thoughtful and incredibly silly energy that Brooke and I generate together. Sometimes we laugh so much we cry. We love a stroll and a stretch, it’s impossible not to love her! We want to create the best sisterhood 2021 can offer! Dream Club is about them, not us.”
