The Hit Network today announced Harry Boucher as Breakfast with Bronte & Lakey Assistant Producer and Announcer on Gold Coast’s 90.9 Sea FM.

After ditching his double degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and Business Management to follow his love of radio, it’s safe to say the risk was worth it for Harry Boucher.

Harry’s first taste of radio was when he volunteered at Student Youth Network (SYN) Media in Melbourne, with his official on-air debut in 2018 while still a student at RMIT University. Harry then moved to announce the Morning shift at Hit105.9 in Orange, NSW before heading north to Townsville in an Afternoons role for the regional Hit Network.

Harry said: “My smile right now is wider than the 70km of pristine beaches I’m about to call home. I could not have asked for a better time to join the Sea FM team than in its Bronte & Lakey era. Front row seats to one of radio’s most exciting new shows was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up!

“Plus, my family are based on the Goldie, so the allure of cheap rent and home cooked meals really sweetened the deal!”

SCA Head of Content – Regional, Bliar Woodcock, said: “Harry’s one of those radio guys who fell in love with the industry as a fan of some of the greats. Inspired, he followed his dream and has moved around the country to bring this dream to life.

“Harry is creative and has a laid-back uniqueness that the GC will love!”

Listen to Harry weekdays 9-11am on 90.9 Sea FM and LiSTNR.
