LiSTNR today announced season six of the highly successful It’s A Lot with Abbie Chatfield podcast, with brand new and striking artwork by Hungarian artist Kamilla Varga.
In the new season, Abbie, an entrepreneur and media star, continues her hugely popular and fiercely candid take on the world, with an unwavering commitment to calling out bad behaviour and telling it exactly how it is.
With her quick wit and confident opinions, Abbie has proven that she won’t shy away from all sorts of topics and discussions including mental health, body positivity and the social discourse around feminism, misogyny, and politics. Plus, there is always a reliable dose of sex tips, bad dating stories, and interviews with funny, clever, and wickedly cool people.
In previous episodes Abbie has navigated compelling conversations with American author Dan Savage, world renowned psychotherapist Esther Perel, and female entrepreneur coach and author Kemi Nekvapil, and the podcast has proven to be a beacon for Australian musicians, artists and comedians.
A champion of using her platform to create space for diverse voices, in the first episode of the new season, Abbie hands the microphone to her listeners to share their thoughts and feelings in ‘Abbie-esque’ rants.
In another upcoming episode, Abbie sits down for a powerful interview with activist and advocate for sexual assault survivors, Grace Tame. Abbie’s fans will also no doubt be hoping to hear from her new boyfriend in a future episode of the sixth season!
On the eve of the new season, Abbie Chatfield said: "We felt like it was time for new artwork for the podcast because the previous art was traced on an old iPad at 4am when I decided to start the podcast and I never really thought to change it. So, we’re really excited about the new artwork and are thrilled we could work with Kamilla Varga to make such fun podcast artwork that reflects the direction that the podcast is heading!"
LiSTNR Original Podcasts Head of Entertainment and Culture, Sam Cavanagh, said: “On It’s A Lot, Abbie and her guests tackle topics that are often considered taboo. However, with Abbie’s trademark candour and humour, these discussions resonate with her legions of listeners, and she is fast becoming one of this country’s most important voices. We are extremely proud to see her podcast continuing to grow and challenge the status quo, whilst also being a runaway commercial success.”
