SCA has announced a new partnership with Qantas Business Rewards to promote an extensive national regional campaign that encourages local businesses to advertise with SCA’s local radio stations to reach their customers.
Called ‘Advertise Local’, the campaign incentivises small to medium enterprises (SMEs) with Qantas Points to boost their business by advertising with local Hit and Triple M stations across the country.
SMEs that join Qantas Business Rewards and advertise with their local stations will receive one Qantas Point for every $1 spent on eligible products for SCA Access members and 1.5 points for every $1 spent for SCA Access Plus members. SCA Access is an exclusive offering for SCA regional clients*.

More than nine in 10 Australian businesses are SMEs with 2.1 million SMEs across the country. They are important contributors to the economy, accounting for a third of Australia’s GDP and employing 40% of Australia’s workforce**.
SCA audiences are also passionate about supporting local businesses, with 93% agreeing that locally owned businesses are an essential part of the community and more than eight in 10 saying that they feel proud to purchase from locally owned businesses^.
The ‘Advertise Local’ campaign will target SCA’s existing and new SME advertisers. SCA will use its extensive owned assets for the campaign including TV, radio and audio ads, plus social, YouTube and retail Out-of-Home components.

A client must be a member of the Qantas Business Rewards Program and satisfy the requirements in the SCA Access Terms and Conditions to be an eligible client to earn Qantas Points for business on eligible products. A one-off join fee of $89.50 (including GST) normally applies, however this will be waived for SCA clients that join the Qantas Business Rewards Program at here. Membership of the Qantas Business Rewards Program and Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Business Rewards Program Terms and Conditions. SCA Access Plus: Qantas Business Rewards members can earn 1.5 points for each $1 spent with SCA Access Plus on eligible radio and television advertising and digital marketing in Australia’s regional markets for campaigns booked and paid for between 1 November 2020 and 30 June 2021. For new clients, minimum expenditure of $53,500 applies. For existing clients, expenditure must also be 10% more than the previous year. Minimum advertising rates apply in each location.
Any claims in relation to Qantas Points under SCA Access must be made directly to SCA by contacting the eligible client’s relationship manager. Qantas Points will be credited to the Qantas Business Rewards Account of an eligible client within 30 days after payment for an eligible product.
