SCA, in partnership with Women and Leadership Australia (WLA), has announced its scholarship program for emerging female leaders as part of International Women’s Day initiatives.

WLA is a national initiative dedicated to supporting a higher representation of female leadership throughout the Australian workforce and the broader community. SCA has partnered with WLA since 2017 and following continued success of the program and positive feedback, this year SCA will be offering 11 scholarships to female leaders across its business, as part of succession planning and building leadership capability through diversity.

SCA’s Senior Leadership Team were invited to submit nominations for the scholarship program, with 11 successful candidates selected.

“Our leaders play a pivotal role in driving our success, supporting our people and living our values. As such we have an ongoing commitment to building our leadership capability. As part of our leadership focus, we are dedicated to ensuring the continued support, development and advancement of our exceptionally talented female leaders across SCA,” SCA CEO, Grant Blackley, said.

“We had a number of outstanding nominations however we are confident in our selection and feel our successful applicants demonstrate a commitment to SCA’s future success and have a desire to make a positive leadership impact across the broader business.

“Given our ongoing commitment to reinvesting in our people through Learning and Development - we are looking forward to rolling out a range of other learning opportunities over the coming months, including SCA Mentoring, a refreshed sales training offering, executive masterclasses and more.”
