Triple M music royalty Rob Thomas will be the first international guest to grace the Triple M Garage Session live streaming stage, when he gives an exclusive performance for Triple M listeners at the end of this month.

Last month, in a Triple M Network first, the famous Triple M Garage Session entered homes across Australia with Aussie band Something For Kate. Once again, listeners will have the chance to claim an exclusive seat (on their couch) with a live and intimate music experience, and Q & A with Rob Thomas hosted by Chris ‘Becko’ Beckhouse.

The American singer-songwriter and lead singer of rock band Matchbox Twenty is much loved by Australian and Triple M audiences, and only recently toured down under at the end of 2019.

Rob said: “Hey Australia, it’s such a crazy time right now, I hope you are all hanging in there and keeping well, Last year, Triple M invited me to perform at the Garage Session in Townsville, which was a lot of fun, and now I’m really excited to say I’ll be performing another Garage Session from my home for you really soon! Get your questions ready and I’ll see you there!”

Head of Music for Hit and Triple M Networks, Mickey Maher, said: “We love connecting our listeners with great live music, and at a time when we can’t do that in person, the next best thing is taking the artists into the listeners homes virtually. Rob is a good friend of Triple M and we are grateful he is making time to hang out.”

Listeners can win their way to Triple M’s Garage Session with Rob Thomas by tuning into Triple M’s drive time show Kennedy Molloy.
