After a year that stopped live music in its tracks, the Triple M and Hit networks will come together once again this summer to deliver listeners with the ultimate line up of live music performances with no lines and no cancellations.

Now in its second year, Concert in the Clouds, co-produced with Eardrum, will play on Sunday 3rd, 10th and 17th of January in 2021. The unique commercial radio experience will gift listeners with the feeling of being amongst the crowds, in the middle of a mosh pit while watching some of the biggest global and homegrown artists.

Both the Hit and Triple M networks will curate and present live music concerts for listeners that align with each network brand.

With a tailored network playlist across Hit and Triple M, listeners can expect to hear over 100 acts and 28 hours of live music, in what will be the greatest music line up of the world’s best concert series. Think of famous artists such as the Foo Fighters, AC/DC and Cold Chisel on Triple M and Taylor Swift, P!nk and J-Lo on Hit plus many more!

The series will be hosted by the Hit Network’s Ash London and Triple M’s Dangerous Dave with special guest appearances from some of SCA’s best-known talent. The host of the Hit Network’s Ash London Live, Ash London, said: “The best memories of my life have been those spent at gigs. From Powderfinger at Festival Hall as a kid to Harry Styles' first ever solo show in London, or the first time I heard Sam Smith sing for a handful of us in the office kitchen many years ago.

“There's something magical about live music that brings all of us together, and after the year that has been 2020, I think we all need a bit of magic. I'm so excited that Concert in the Clouds is back to give us a taste of what we've been missing, and what is still to come!”

Hit and Triple M Networks Head of Music, Mickey Maher, said: “This year, we have all missed experiencing live music. This summer will look a little different for the music industry, in a time where we usually prepare for big tours of the world’s best acts, and some of Australia’s biggest music festivals. It will be the perfect playlist for a summer of staycations.

“We are privileged to have platforms where our networks can deliver the best live music to our listeners. The Triple M and Hit networks will give listeners the feeling of being right back there at a concert or music festival through their speakers.”

In a year which has impacted the global music industry, Concert in the Clouds will come together with Australian music charity, Support Act. Throughout the broadcast, both networks will support and raise awareness for Support Act who assist homegrown artists and music industry workers, many who have faced job insecurity and been impacted mentally and financially due to Covid-19.

Concert in the Clouds will feature across both Hit and Triple M networks bringing the world’s best acts, live on your radio in January 2021, starting on Sunday, 3 January.
