Southern Cross Austereo's television services cover most of regional Australia. The television division has affiliation arrangements with all the Metropolitan commercial networks. Southern Cross Austereo's Television markets are geographically divided into 30 regional sub-markets (or population centres). Southern Cross Austereo also operates a number of joint ventures, each carrying Channel Ten programming in Tasmania, Darwin and Central regions.
Local Programming, News and Information
Southern Cross Media offers all markets local news updates and community announcements. In Tasmania we are proud to offer the state's leading nightly half hour news services. We also produce half hourly bulletins across our Spencer Gulf region markets.
We have also developed some exciting new programs that complement our radio brands and enhance our television offerings such as Landed Music, a show aimed at promoting local music and artists which debuted in February 2010.
